Season 5
The Shield season 5 was debuted on 1-10-2006 with the episode entitled ‘Extraction’. Season begins when a racial tension steps up in the area, so the whole Strike Team is trying to end this race war. Meanwhile, Claudette and Dutch are investigating a riot at a high school. Danny is pregnant but refuses to disclose the identity of the un-born baby. Strike Team’s corrupt past is reviewed by Kavanaugh. During the season, the Strike Team investigates a multiple homicide case.
Dedicated to the point of manic obsession, Kavanagh puts the screws on imprisoned Force member Curtis “Lemonhead” Lemensky, hoping that Lem will crack and spill his guts about his coworkers’ illegal tactics. Season finale was entitled ‘Post Partum’ and it was aired on 3-21-2006. As the season ends, Vic helps Liz to move out of the country for his own good as well as the good of his colleagues. Det. Shane Vendrell ruffs all his previous outrages by making the deal that Lem will never disclose to anyone.

Lem is thinking to accept a deal from the DA. As he has no other choice, Vic unwillingly meets with Antwon. His intention is just to know about Lem’s safety in prison. Claudette –Dutch’s relationship may receive some irrevocable damages because of some unexpected circumstances.
