David Marciano, an American actor, is popular among the TV viewers for his portrayal of detective Raymond Vecchio on the television series ‘Due South’.
David took birth in Newark, New Jersey and he grew up in North Newark. In his childhood, he associated with The Nomads, a group of teenagers. He once himself admitted that he had a troubled teenage. When he was at 17, he met a severe accident and survived luckily. After surviving, he decided to sort out his life and joined Northeastern University in Boston, Massachusetts to study biomedical engineering. His beginning with studies was not very good and he decided to turn towards economics and accounting. Ultimately, he decided to drop out of the school and pursue his acting career. Leaving Newark opened new doors for him.
David Marciano moved to Los Angeles in 1985. His biggest break was as a guest star on ‘Wiseguy’. Next to it were his small appearances on several projects. In 1994, David got the role of detective Vecchio in ‘Due South’. He portrayed the character for two consecutive seasons and the quitted the show due to some filming commitments. He later reprised the role in the series finale. On ‘Mario Puzo’s ‘The Last Don’, David Marciano portrayed the character of Giorgio Clericuzio.
